Hello all my friends. I have not posted in a while and I apologize. I will download some pictures a little lates. Mark will be home on the 20th of December and I am SOO very excited for that, We really need him home at this time. For those of you that don't know Shawn's sister Joelle's husband died in a car accident and left behind her and their 5 children, We have been very sad but also very thankful to know where he is and that he is in a much better place than we are. Now the challenge is helping her with the kids. We will make it through though with our prayers and faith.
Thank you to all who have been praying for our family.

I love you all very much and am very thankful to have you in my life.

I know I have not posted in a while, But been a little busy. Since my last post Emily has had 2 major surgeries. The first on her head removing the Cyst went really well. That is the one I was so worried about and she recovered very quick. She had to have her head shaved so we got her a really cute haircut. Then the one on her ears, we are still trying to get them better she had permenant tubes put in. Since then she has had a constant infection and it is still not any better. We go BACK to Flagstaff to the Dr. on Wednesday for the umpteen time. Someday hopefully she will be better and her hearing will be ok.
Mark is doing well he is 1 of the 9 that will be graduating in a week from the Jr. Collage that he is at right now. There were 28 that started the class and all the rest failed out. So we are very proud of him, once he graduates he will continue his ARMY schooling in Florida for 48 weeks.
Shawn Douglas will graduate with his CNA in May and continue on to get his RN to become a flight nurse. Wish we had that opportunity in school.
Frankie is in cross country and running alot. She hates it but she started so she has to finish.
Conor is playing soccer and loving Kindergarten.
I am busy to say the least but enjoy the ride with my kids.

Boot Camp Graduation Aug. 14, 2008

Well we got to go to Ft. Leonard Wood Missouri this past week to witness what I call "The BEST graduation EVER" I have never witnessed anything like it before in my life. How they get 214 Soldiers to march together without any flaws is simply amazing, there is no other word to describe how PROUD I felt to see my son as one of those AMAZING soldiers.
Mark graduated at 0800 hours in his Class "A" uniform. They came is singing all of them in tune to their song. They marched up on stage to their Drill song and called out their names and where they were from, sang the ARMY song and marched outside. Then we all went outside and they marched to the reception hall. When we got outside and saw them all lined up to our amazement we saw our Mark as the lead soldier carrying his Platoons flag back to it's place. What an amazing sight that was. I totally lost all the composier I had. I started to cry of course. As soon as we got into the reception hall (There was thousands of family members there to witness the graduation of their sons and daughters) We saw him, oh I cannot explain all the emotions that ran through my body. I just grabbed him and clung to him for a long time, When he saw Conor he started to cry, he was his BIG surprise and they were both so happy, They did not leave each others sides all day. Then he hugged his Dad and there was more tears. Grandma Denise and Grandpa Mike were also there. What a sight to see. He is all grown up now and that meks me so Proud and Sad at the same time. We got to spend the day with him till 0900 hours that night. It was so hard to tell him bye again, but we know he is where he is suppose to be. He is now in Alabama for 10 weeks than he will go onto Florida to finish out his training. He left a Boy and now he is a Man, I am the proudest Mother EVER!!!
